Horrible 2-Vehicle Crash on Maple Valley Highway Led to Fatality [Renton, WA]

Renton, WA (October 21, 2023) On Friday evening, a driver died and another suffered injuries after a 2-vehicle crash on Maple Valley Highway.

According to the Renton Police Department, the fatal traffic crash happened around 10 p.m. on Maple Valley Highway at 154th Place SE.

Reports say that Renton police attempted to pull over the driver of a vehicle, when it fled the scene at high speed, consequently, the suspect driver crashed into an SUV.

The impact of the collision killed the SUV driver, while the causing driver sustained serious injuries. WSP says that the officer who attempted the traffic stop did not pursue the suspect driver.

Authorities are investigating the fatal traffic crash.
