Columbia, MO (February 24, 2025) – A frightening 2-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Drive Southwest led to possible injuries and traffic disruption.

According to officials, the horrific incident happened around 5:15 p.m. near Spencer Avenue.

Reports say that the two-vehicle crash temporarily closed a section of I-70 Drive Southwest in west Columbia on Sunday evening.

The left one vehicle overturned in a ditch and another with front passenger-side damage.

Emergency crews, including Columbia Fire Department, MU Health ambulances, and Columbia Police, responded to the scene. Officials cleared the area by 5:30 p.m.

Authorities have not released details on injuries or the cause of the crash.
