2 Ford Occupants Transported in Deadly Crash on Yakima Valley Highway [Yakima, WA]

Yakima, WA (April 6, 2025) – Two men were injured following a 2-vehicle deadly crash on Yakima Valley Highway Friday evening.

The fatal crash happened around 5:30 p.m. at the intersection with Buena Road.

Investigators said a speeding Nissan traveling west, crossed the double yellow line, rotated, and crashed onto an eastbound Ford Ranger.

Unfortunately, despite life-saving efforts, the man driving the  Nissan was declared dead at the crash scene.

Moreover, two men in the Ford Ranger were rushed to the hospital with unknown injuries. Officers said the Ford driver was conscious and speaking while being transported.

The authorities are conducting a further investigation into the accident.
