Chico, CA (March 31, 2023) – On Thursday, two people sustained injuries following a big rig crash on W 8th Street.

The traffic accident took place before 2:15 p.m. in the area of Salem Street involving a semi-truck and pickup truck.

Immediately, responding medics rushed the victims to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers said the big rig was trying to cross W 8th Street from Salem Street when it was struck by the truck.
