Police Investigate Solo Vehicle Crash on Old US 30 in Macon County
Macon County, Mo (February 6, 2025) – A Wednesday evening crash on Old U.S. 36 at Harvest Road injured two teens from northeast Missouri just before 6 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 17-year-old male from Callao lost control of a pickup truck while driving on an ice-covered roadway.
The vehicle veered off the south side of the road and crashed.
Both the driver and a 15-year-old female passenger, also from Callao, sustained minor injuries.
They were transported to Samaritan Hospital in Macon by a private vehicle for treatment.
Authorities noted that the passenger was wearing her seatbelt, while the driver was not.
