2 Hurt in City Heights Auto Accident on Wightman Street
CITY HEIGHTS, CA (September 22, 2020) – Sunday night, two police officers were hurt in a T-bone crash on Wightman Street.
According to reports, at around 11:00 p.m., a 43-year-old female BMW driver drove through a red light. This incident took place on Wightman Street and Fairmont Avenue, police Officer Dino Delimitros revealed. The San Diego police officers were driving south on Fairmont Avenue. Meanwhile, the woman was driving west on Wightman Street when the crash occurred.
As a result, the two Mid City officers suffered head pain and were hospitalized, Officer Scott Lockwood revealed. Later, the two officers were finally released.
Furthermore, the woman suffered no injuries.
