2 Dead in Pacific Auto Crash on State Route 167

 
PACIFIC, WA (December 3, 2020) – On Tuesday, two people died in a multi-vehicle accident on State Route 167 in Pacific, Washington.
 
According to Trooper Rick Johnson with the Washington State Patrol, authorities received the report of the crash at around 11:30 p.m.
 
Reports revealed that a southbound pickup truck in the northbound lanes made it 12 miles before crashing with a motorcycle before colliding with a double dump truck just south of Ellington Road.
 
The pickup and the truck started to catch fire after the collision.
 
Responders pronounced the motorcyclist and the pickup driver dead at the scene. The truck driver sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Other vehicles were struck by debris from the crash, Johnson said.
 
According to WSDOT, the crash closed a northbound lane for almost all day on Wednesday. All lanes reopened by 8:00 a.m.
