CHP Investigates Fatal Three-Vehicle Crash on 91 Freeway in Anaheim Hills

Anaheim Hills, CA (February 26, 2025) – Two people died in a fiery three-vehicle crash on 91 Freeway.

California Highway Patrol officers responded to the eastbound freeway near the Coal Canyon Road off-ramp at around 12:50 a.m. 

Upon arrival, they found the victims and the wrecked vehicles.

According to ABC 7, one vehicle crashed into the freeway median, while another caught fire, trapping one of the victims inside.

Authorities pronounced both victims dead at the scene. Their identities, including names, ages, and genders, had not yet been determined.

The CHP issued a SigAlert, closing all lanes of the 91 Freeway for several hours as investigators worked to determine the cause of the crash.
