Man, Woman and Dog Dead, Child Hospitalized Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 65

Roseville, CA (August 27, 2020) – On Monday, 2 people and a dog died after a rollover crash on Highway 65 near the Stanford Ranch Road/Galleria Boulevard exit.

Moreover, rescuers took a 12-year-old  girl to the hospital for moderate injuries.

The California Highway Patrol says the fatal accident happened 10:30 p.m. near Stanford Ranch Road and Galleria Boulevard exit,

Authorities said an SUV northbound on the freeway abruptly swerved to the left and went into the center divider. Then, it overturned and rolled until it came to a rest on its roof.

CHP confirms 3 people and a dog were inside the SUV. A male driver and a female in the passenger seat were both dead at the scene. Incidentally, both were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Furthermore, police say that the dog dies after being thrown out of the vehicle.

On the other hand, the 12-year-old girl seating at the back seat of the SUV is wearing her seatbelt and only had minor injuries.

Moreover, CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash, they have not ruled out if drugs or alcohol were factors.

Consequently, the deceased identities are not yet available.

Lastly, police diverted off traffic to the Stanford Ranch/Galleria exit through the early morning hours.
