2 People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on West Griffith Way and North West Avenue [Fresno, CA]

2 Hospitalized in Fresno Auto Accident on West Griffith Way and North West Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (July 4, 2021) – Wednesday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a two-vehicle crash on West Griffith Way and North West Avenue.
 
The incident occurred at 3:34 p.m. on West Griffith Way and North West Avenue.
 
Fresno police Lt. Rob Beckwith revealed that a silver four-door sedan headed east on Griffith Way. Then, the sedan turned left to go north onto West Avenue. Meanwhile, a southbound black four-door Audi failed to yield at the red light.
 
Afterward, the vehicles crashed in the intersection, leaving debris on the road.
 
Responders took the sedan’s driver to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries and are in critical condition. Also, the other driver sustained moderate injuries.
 
Furthermore, the authorities shut down the intersection during the investigation.
