2 Hurt in Valencia Accident on The Old Road and Rye Canyon Road

 
VALENCIA, CA (January 12, 2021) – Monday afternoon, two people suffered injuries in a traffic crash on The Old Road and Rye Canyon Road.
 
The authorities received a report of the crash at around 3:30 p.m. John Matheny, public information officer for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said that it happened on The Old Road south of Rye Canyon Road.
 
Matheny added that the incident was initially reported as a traffic crash with advanced life support (ALS).
 
When the firefighters arrived, they located one victim out of the car. Meanwhile, the fire personnel took the second victim out of the vehicle.
 
Moreover, the CHP logs confirmed that the vehicle was teetering on the side of the bridge. Also, several passing motorists tried to stop it from falling.
 
At this time, Matheny hasn’t clarified whether the vehicle drove over the side of the bridge.
 
As the CHP officers investigate, they temporarily closed The Old Road near Rye Canyon Road.
 
Meanwhile, responders took the two victims to a local hospital in critical condition.
