FRESNO, CA (March 17, 2021) – On Tuesday morning, two people sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Millerton Road near Friant Road.
 
According to California Highway Patrol, a vehicle carrying two people, a man, and a woman, traveled on Millerton Road. As the vehicle traveled between Friant and Auberry, it veered off the road and collided with a large rock.
 
Furthermore, responders had to extricate the two victims trapped inside the vehicle.
 
Moreover, paramedics transported the woman to Community Regional Medical Center in downtown Fresno via helicopter.
 
Also, the events leading to the crash are still unknown, and that the two victims were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
 
Meanwhile, officers found drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.
 
The crash closed Millerton Road for several hours while clearing operation is ongoing.
