Injuries Reported in Sana Barbara Accident on Highway 101 and West Carrillo Street

 
SANTA BARBARA, CA (March 1, 2021) – Sunday morning, two people suffered injuries in a rollover crash on Highway 101 and West Carrillo Street.
 
The incident happened at around 2:30 a.m. on the northbound freeway exit ramp. Santa Barbara fire Battalion Chief Jim McCoy confirmed that it occurred on Highway 101 and West Carrillo Street.
 
According to reports, one vehicle landed on its roof on one side of the exit ramp. Meanwhile, the other stopped in the vegetation off the roadway on the opposite side.
 
McCoy confirmed that two men inside the overturned car suffered minor injuries. One of them was transported by an American Medical Response ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
 
At this time, their identities and condition remain unavailable.
 
Meanwhile, the other vehicle driver escaped the crash scene and remains at large.
 
Due to the limited information available, the California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
