Warrant Out for Vicente Rodriguez Ruiz Hospitalized in Bakersfield Hit and Run Accident

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 3, 2021) – On June 1st, a woman and toddler sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on Chester Avenue and 10th Street.
 
According to the authorities, the incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the intersection of Chester Avenue and 10th Street.
 
Furthermore, responders confirmed that a woman and a 3-year-old boy sustained moderate injuries.
 
Moreover, officers described the hit-and-run driver as a Hispanic male. He wore a hat and drove a gray or blue 2000’s Honda four-door.
 
Also, officials ask anyone with information about the hit-and-run driver to contact local law enforcement agencies as soon as possible.
 
The assailant has been identified as Vicente Rodriguez Ruiz, of Hispanic descent, with a height of 5’7”, 170 Ib., gray hair, and brown eyes.
 
Subsequently, a warrant is out for his arrest.
 
Moreover, police say the hit-and-run driver will be charged with felony hit and run, resulting in injuries.
 
Additionally, charges will include being an unlicensed driver, and failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
 
Apparently, authorities believe Ruiz may be fleeing to Mexico.
