2 Arrested in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on 30th and Thorn Street

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (October 11, 2021) – Saturday night, two people sustained injuries in a hit-and-run crash on 30th and Thorn Street.
 
According to authorities, the incident started when a large white pick-up truck struck a male pedestrian. According to reports, the pedestrian crossed 30th St & Thorn St on an electric scooter. Then, the truck pulled over down the street and then fled moments later.
 
Reports revealed that the male victim sustained a compound fracture to an ankle and a broken shoulder. Thus, responders took him to a local hospital for treatment.
 
Furthermore, at around 7:40 p.m., a truck matched the description of the hit-and-run vehicle involved in the earlier incident. Reports confirmed that the truck drove out of an alley onto Lincoln Avenue and struck a Toyota Prius. Responders transported the female driver of the Prius to a hospital with unknown injuries.
 
Moreover, the male driver of the truck and a female passenger remained at the scene after the incident. Officers detained the two for questioning about the first crash as their vehicle matches the description of the hit-and-run vehicle.
