2 Hurt in San Diego Auto Accident on State Route 76 and Valley Center Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (December 29, 2020) – Monday night, two people suffered injuries in a head-on crash on State Route 76 and Valley Center Drive.
 
The incident occurred at about 6:05 p.m. near the roundabout where State Route 76 meets Valley Center Road. At this time, the events that have led up to the crash remain unknown.
 
According to Cal Fire San Diego Capt. Thomas Shoots, the crash was between a van and a sedan.
 
Moreover, one occupant from respective vehicles was stuck until Cal Fire crews freed them. Shoots added that medics were transported both to hospitals in ambulances.
 
At this time, the extent of injuries remains unknown. However, Shoots confirmed that firefighters didn’t perform CPR on anyone.
 
Furthermore, State Route 76 remained closed in both directions until 8:00 p.m.
