Injuries Reported in San Diego Auto Accident on Worden Street and Polack Avenue

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (February 14, 2021) – Saturday morning, two people suffered injuries in an alleged DUI crash on Worden Street and Polack Avenue.
 
At 12:20 a.m., an 18-year-old driver traveled at a high speed south in the 2700 block of Worden Street. Meanwhile, another driver heading east in the 3900 block of Polack Avenue yielded to a stop sign.
 
Afterward, the driver started turning left onto Worden Street. However, he hit the car of the 18-year-old driver, said Officer Tony Martinez of the San Diego Police Department.
 
As a result, one of the cars crashed into five parked vehicles.
 
The crash left the 18-year-old driver with a lacerated liver. On the other hand, his front-seat passenger, a man in his 20s, suffered a fractured leg. Also, the authorities are evaluating the 18-year-old driver for possible DUI.
