OCEANSIDE, CA (June 29, 2021) – Sunday night, two people sustained injuries after a suspected DUI crash on Avenida del Oro and Windansea Street.
 
According to Oceanside police spokesman Tom Bussey, the incident happened at around 10:20 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Avenida del Oro and Windansea Street.
 
Reports revealed that the vehicle traveled between 50 mph and 60 mph when it lost control and crashed into a tree.
 
Furthermore, officials confirmed that both the 18-year-old driver and the 18-year-old passenger were heavily intoxicated.
 
Moreover, paramedics said that the unrestrained driver sustained a small laceration to the head while the passenger complained of chest and abdominal pain.
 
The events leading to the crash are under investigation.
