2 Hospitalized in Irwindale Auto Accident on Buena Vista Channel near Alpha Street

 
IRWINDALE, CA (June 7, 2021) – Early Sunday morning, two people sustained injuries in a crash on Buena Vista Channel near Alpha Street.
 
According to Irwindale Police Department Sgt. Rudy Gatto, the incident happened at around 1:44 a.m. Moreover, it occurred at the Buena Vista Channel, near Alpha Street and Bateman Avenue.
 
Reports revealed that a 1986 Ford Model LTD traveled on an “S” shaped street. Then, it plowed through a fence for unknown reasons and fell into a wash.
 
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that four people were inside the vehicle at the time of the crash. Responders transported two people to a local trauma center with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the other two occupants of the vehicle sustained no injuries in the incident.
 
Moreover, the driver of the vehicle claimed that the brakes went out.
 
Also, authorities requested a heavy-duty tow truck to the scene to remove the car from the wash.
 
Furthermore, officials do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
