Injuries Reported in Douglas City Crash on Highway 3 and Deer Lick Springs Road

 
DOUGLAS CITY, CA (February 10, 2021) – Early Monday, two people suffered injuries in an accident on Highway 3 and Deer Lick Springs Road.
 
At around 1:45 a.m., a male and a female passenger came to Trinity General Hospital in Weaverville. Both of them sustained major injuries.
 
The 29-year-old Lewiston woman and 30-year-old Weaverville man said that the incident happened on Highway 3, south of Douglas City.
 
Thus, the authorities searched the area and located the 2016 Dodge Charger 200 feet down. They fell into a heavily wooded ravine off Highway 3 around 3.5 miles, south of Deer Lick Springs Road.
 
Despite the extensive search, the authorities didn’t find the driver. At this time, the CHP is still determining the driver of the vehicle before the collision. At this time, the unidentified person hasn’t reached out to the authorities.
