2 Injured in Tustin Car Crash on Santiago Canyon Road

 
TUSTIN, CA (July 15, 2020) – Early Sunday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a vehicle accident on Santiago Canyon Road.
 
According to reports, at around 1:57 p.m., a vehicle crashed into a telephone pole and near Blue Diamond Haul Road. Moreover, the crash led to the temporary shutdown of Santiago Canyon Road.
 
The authorities confirmed that responders transported a person to Mission Hospital with abrasions to both arms and their left leg.
 
Furthermore, they transported another patient to Orange County Global Medical Center with serious injuries.
 
Due to the crash, the authorities shut down the road at Chapman Avenue. The road closed to the west and Hicks Haul Road to the east.
 
The crash also led to the closure of 241 Toll Road offramps at Santiago Canyon Road.
 
However, at 2:27 a.m., the roadway reopened to both directions.
