Multi-Vehicle Crash on Lyons Avenue Near Old Orchard Park Left 2 People Injured

 
Santa Clarita, CA (December 26, 2020) – A two-vehicle crash on Lyons Avenue left two people hospitalized on Thursday afternoon.
 
The crash happened on December 24 on Lyons Avenue near Old Orchard Park at about 3:34 p.m.
 
Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving two vehicles. According to Supervisor Bernard Peters with the Fire Department, they extricated two patients from the crash to be sent to the hospital.
 
Officers transported one of the patients in a critical condition to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital while they transported the other one to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills. However, there have been no updates regarding the current condition of the patients.
 
Initially, the officers requested a helicopter to transport patients but eventually decided to take them to the hospital by ground.
 
Furthermore, officials rescued a dog at the scene which appeared to be scared but uninjured.
 
As of now, no further information is available.
