2 Injured in Reno Motorcycle Crash on 4th Street near El Tavern Motel
RENO, NV (November 4, 2020) – Monday night, two people suffered injuries in an accident on 4th Street near El Tavern Motel.
The Reno accident happened at about 7:53 p.m. on 4th Street, in front of El Tavern Motel.
According to investigators, a white Chevy truck tried to make a u-turn on 4th Street. However, a motorcycle hit the back of the pickup truck.
Some witnesses revealed that the motorcycle traveled on 4th street at about 70-75 mph.
After the crash, the two motorcycle riders were transported to Renown with multiple broken bones.
Meanwhile, the authorities do not believe that impairment played a role in the crash. However, speed is a possible factor.
Furthermore, the westbound 4th Street at Cemetery Road remained closed. Meanwhile, an eastbound lane stayed open.
Weaving in and out of lanes is dangerous. Always stay in your lane and be aware of the presence of other motorists around you. Pay attention and consider small vehicles like motorcycles and bicycles because these are more prone to road accidents than bigger vehicles.
The Rising Numbers of Accident in the Nevada
According to the United States Department of Transportation, there are approximately 300,000 merging accidents every year.
Roadways, while scrupulously created and mapped for efficient travel, are one of the most dangerous settings.
As common of an occurrence as they are, many people do not suspect what follows in the event of a crash.
Thus, the most valuable step you can take in response to a vehicle crash is hiring a personal injury attorney.
