2 Killed in San Diego Auto Accident near San Vicente Road and Wildcat Canyon Road

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (January 11, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, two people died in a single-vehicle crash near San Vicente Road and Wildcat Canyon Road.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident happened at around 5:00 p.m. Reports confirmed that an eastbound white Chevrolet Camaro traveled at a high rate of speed on San Vicente, west of Wildcat Canyon Road. Then, it veered off across the double yellow center lines towards the north edge of the road. Afterward, the vehicle struck multiple trees and started to catch fire.
 
Responders pronounced the driver and a passenger of the vehicle dead at the scene.
 
The incident is under investigation.
