2 People in Critical Condition after Rollover Crash on Foothill and Kirschenmann Roads [Cuyama Valley, CA]

2 People Airlifted to Hospital after Single-Vehicle Crash on Foothill and Kirschenmann Roads

Cuyama Valley, CA (July 24, 2021) – A rollover crash on Foothill and Kirschenmann Roads left two people in critical condition on Friday afternoon.

The incident happened on July 23 near the intersection of Foothill and Kirschenmann Roads, south of Cuyama at about 2:45 p.m

California Highway Patrol and Santa Barbara County Fire Department arrived at the scene. According to the report, the crash involved a single vehicle. Authorities found the hatchback on its roof and two people down on the road. 

However, it is still unclear what caused the crash.

Due to the impact of the crash, the two people sustained serious injuries. Santa Barbara County Fire Captain Daniel Bertucelli said that emergency personnel airlifted them to a hospital for treatments. 

Furthermore, Bertucelli said that both of the patients were in critical condition.
