As a result, responders airlifted two people with minor to moderate injuries. Meanwhile, three others remained at the scene because they weren’t injured.

The CHP confirmed that a vehicle tried to pass another one. However, the car ended up in the gravel. As the driver tried to correct, both cars went off the road at the north shoulder.

Furthermore, the authorities do not believe that alcohol or drug played a role in the crash.

Due to the limited information, the crash remains under active investigation.
