Passengers Die in Rollover Crash on Sand Mountain Recreation Area
Fallon, NV (October 31, 2022) Over the weekend, an off-road accident in Sand Mountain Recreation Area claimed the life of 2 juvenile passengers.
Churchill County Sheriff’s Office says that the children were passengers on a Can-Am side-by-side driven by an adult.
Moreover, reports say that the ATV rolled over and killed one of the minors at the scene. Paramedics airlifted the other minor, a female to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno. However, the child succumbed to her injuries and died at the hospital.
Furthermore, officials say that the adult and minors were from Alpaugh, California, near Bakersfield.
Authorities are investigating the fatal rollover crash and have not released further information at this time.
