2 Men Found Dead after Fallbrook Auto Accident on Interstate 15 and Stewart Canyon Road
FALLBROOK, CA (July 6, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, two men died in a crash on Interstate 15 and Stewart Canyon Road.
By 4:20 p.m., the bodies of two men along with a vehicle that fell 100 feet down an embankment were found.
According to a person at the scene, the 2018 Toyota Corolla went missing on Friday. CHP Officer Juan Escobar revealed that investigators suspect that the car crashed off the freeway “sometime in the early morning hours” of Saturday.
Then, the next day, the officers found the 21-year-old driver and his 21-year-old passenger in the vehicle.
Moreover, firefighters from the North County Fire Protection District responded to the scene to aid in recovering the bodies.
