Deadly El Cajon Motorcycle Accident on 1300 E Main Street

EL CAJON, CA (May 13, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, 2 people died in a brutal motorcycle crash on 1300 E Main Street.

The incident happened at about 11:40 p.m. when officers tried to pull over a black Harley Davidson motorcycle for a traffic violation at 1700 E Main Street.

“The motorcycle had two occupants on it and fled from officers westbound on Main Street at a high rate of speed,” the department reported.

As the motorcycle pulled away from the pursuing officer, they crashed with the rear of a blue Toyota Tacoma and black Hyundai Sonata at 1300 E Main Street.

The 42-year-old man driving the motorcycle and a 42-year-old female passenger were tragically pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities have been withheld pending notification of family. 

Meanwhile, the occupants of the Tacoma and Sonata involved in the collision were unharmed and have been cooperating fully with the investigation, according to police.
