2 Dead in Sky Valley Auto Accident on Dillon Road near Camel Drive

SKY VALLEY, CA (March 26, 2025) – Tuesday afternoon, a horrific head-on crash on Dillon Road near Camel Drive killed 2 people.

The incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on Dillon Road near Lamel Drive.

CAL FIRE confirmed that both vehicles involved in the crash were completely engulfed in flames. A spokesperson reported that a third person sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.

Due to debris cleanup, Dillon Road was closed in both directions from Lamel Drive to Thousand Palms Canyon Road until 8:30 p.m. 

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
