2 People Killed in Disastrous 2-Car Crash on Stowell Road [Santa Maria, CA]

Santa Maria, CA (August 2, 2024) On Thursday morning, a man and a woman were killed and another woman suffered injuries after a horrific 2-car crash on Stowell Road.

According to Santa Maria police, the fatal traffic collision happened at about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection with Bradley Road.

Reports say that a woman driving an eastbound vehicle on Stowell Road, did not stop at a red light on Bradley Road, causing a collision with a southbound vehicle occupied by a male driver and a female passenger.

Authorities say that the occupants of the southbound vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, while the female driver sustained moderate injuries.

Officials are investigating the fatal 2-car crash and does not believe that drugs or alcohol were involved in the incident.
