2 Dead in Fresno County Auto Accident on Monterey Avenue and Cambridge Avenue
FRESNO COUNTY, CA (September 20, 2022) – Sunday night, two people died in a single-vehicle crash on Monterey Avenue and Cambridge Avenue.
The incident occurred at about 6:19 p.m. on private property, East of Monterey Avenue and North of Cambridge Avenue.
According to reports, the crash involved a Polaris RZR.
Reports revealed that an unidentified male drove a Polaris RZR, up a dirt embankment on private property near Los Gatos Creek.
Then, the driver unsafely turned the Polaris to the right and subsequently caused it to overturn. Meanwhile, both the driver and passenger were unrestrained and failed to wear protective equipment.
As a result, both the driver and the passenger died.
At this time, they haven’t determined whether alcohol and/or drugs played a role in the crash.
