2 Dead in Kern County Speeding Accident on Interstate 15 and Kings County Line

 
KERN COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, two people died in a crash on Interstate 15 at Kern County and Kings County Line.
 
The incident happened at about 3:53 p.m. on Interstate 15 at Kern County and Kings County Line. According to reports, the crash involved an Infinity and a Nissan.
 
When the authorities arrived, they determined that an Infinity drove at a high rate of speed in the number 1 lane. Also, an additional car in between the Infinity and the Nissan also traveled.
 
Then, the speeding Infinity veered into the number 2 lane to pass the additional car in front of it, and behind the Nissan.
 
Because if the speeding Infinity, the front of the car crashed with the back end of the Nissan.
 
Afterward, the crash led both vehicles to veer off the roadway and rolled over into a dirt field.
 
Also, the driver and the front right passenger of the Infinity were thrown and sustained fatal injuries.
 
Both of them sustained injuries in the crash. Also, two other Nissan passengers sustained minor injuries. Meanwhile, all four passengers in the Nissan sustained minor injuries.
 
Then, the authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
 
Also, officers confirmed that both people who were ejected failed to wear their seatbelts.
