Injuries Reported in Deadly Guadalupe High-Speed Accident near 604 Exit and Interstate Highway 10

 
GUADALUPE COUNTY, TX (January 19, 2023) – Monday, two people died in a police chase crash near 604 Exit and Interstate Highway 10.
 
The incident occurred just before 7:30 a.m. near the 604 Exit and Interstate Highway 10.
 
Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Joshua Ray confirmed that a deputy tried to pull over a tan 1997 Ford Explorer.
 
Then, the driver initially stopped but then, they eventually fled the crash scene.
 
Hence, the deputy chased the fleeing SUV driving at speeds of nearly 100 mph.
 
Then, the driver lost control of the Explorer and struck the SUV near the 604 exit of IH 10. Moreover, the crash happened near FM 725 near Love’s truck stop.
 
Meanwhile, the impact ejected the driver and several passengers from the suspect vehicle.
 
Also, one unidentified female passenger and the driver both died at the scene.
 
Moreover, responders took three other passengers to area hospitals in San Antonio.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t disclosed the identities of the deceased due to pending family notification.
