Two Fatalities and Two Critical in Head-On Crash in Auburn Blvd

 
Citrus Heights, CA (April 23, 2020)– Thursday evening, two unidentified individuals died while another two sustained severe injuries in a head-on crash in Auburn Boulevard and Charwood Lane.
 
Authorities received crash reports around 8:20 p.m., on April 23. First dispatched officers arrived in Auburn Boulevard and Charwood Lane, near Greenback Lane, shortly after.
 
Reportedly, a westbound SUV crossed over the centre divider and collided head-on with an eastbound truck.
 
Due to the extreme impact, two people died at the scene while the two were transported to the hospital in critical condition. However, their current situation hasn’t yet updated.
 
Further so, authorities didn’t disclose the identities of all parties involved. Additionally, they believed speeding as a potential factor in the deadly crash.
 
Moreover, all lanes of Auburn Boulevard between Greenback Lane and Donegal Drive were temporarily closed during cleanup and preliminary duties.
