Fatal Crash on Highway 198 and Highway 99, Drive at Large

 
Visalia, CA (June 11, 2020)– On Wednesday morning, 2 people were killed and 1 sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 198 and Highway 99.
 
The incident occurred on June 10 at about 4:30 a.m. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash took place on the westbound side of Highway 198 and Highway 99.
 
CHP found out that a car veered off the highway, resulting in the deadly crash. The driver of the involved vehicle fled the scene and as of 6:00 a.m. Moreover, the driver is still at large.
 
Due to the impact of the crash, responders pronounced 2 people dead at the scene. In addition, medical personnel transported one person to the hospital with serious injuries.
 
No further information is currently available. Once available, it will be released to the public.
