2 Juveniles Injured in Walnut Street Collision [Simi Valley, CA]

Simi Valley, CA (May 21, 2023) – On Saturday morning, two male juveniles were injured following a Walnut Street collision.

The authorities received the crash report past 9:30 a.m. at the intersection with Galveston Avenue.

Simi Valley Police Department officers said the two male riders were southbound on Galveston Street and didn’t stop for the stop sign. They drove through the intersection at Walnut Street where they were hit by a male driver with a female passenger. 

Witnesses said the vehicle was traveling at or below the speed limit. The driver and the passenger were not injured in the accident.

Neither of the two juveniles was wearing a helmet. 

The boys’ sustained significant but not life-threatening injuries. One of them was taken to Los Robles Regional Medical Center and the other to Northridge Hospital Medical Center.
