FORT BRAGG, CA (November 17, 2021) – Tuesday morning, two juveniles suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash near South Harold Street and East Oak Street.
 
The incident occurred at 8:13 a.m. near South Harold Street and East Oak Street.
 
According to reports, a truck hit two juveniles near the intersection of South Harold and East Oak Street.
 
As a result, an ambulance responded to the scene.
 
By 11:30 a.m. authorities said that a “driver was turning at the intersection of Oak and Harod when his vision was obscured by the sun.” Then, the vehicle struck two 11-year-old juveniles “who were legally crossing in the crosswalk while walking to school.”
 
The crash left one of the juveniles with minor injuries to the hand and elbow. Meanwhile, the other received moderate injuries to his leg requiring transport to the emergency room.
 
Due to the limited information available, the authorities continue to investigate the crash.
