PORT HUENEME, CA (January 8, 2023) – Friday night, two juveniles suffered injuries in a crash on Channel Islands Boulevard near Lido Boulevard.
 
The incident happened just after 10:50 p.m. on Channel Islands Boulevard, near Lido Boulevard.
 
Port Hueneme Police Department Sgt. Ryan Bates revealed that a Ford Expedition had gone into the center canal. Then, the vehicle landed on its roof.
 
As a result, the 15-year-old driver and another 15-year-old boy were both taken to hospitals.
 
They sustained lacerations and abrasions that were not life-threatening. Also, authorities expect that both teens will fully recover.
 
At this time, the authorities haven’t clarified whether they issued any citations or other enforcement actions were taken.
