Injuries Reported in Fresno Pedestrian Accident on Fresno Street and Alluvial Avenue

 
FRESNO, CA (January 3, 2023) – Monday night, two juvenile girls suffered injuries in a pedestrian crash on Fresno Street and Alluvial Avenue.
 
The incident happened at about 7:45 p.m. on Fresno Street and Alluvial Avenue.
 
According to reports, three juveniles ages 11 to 13 crossed the crosswalk eastbound on Alluvial Avenue. Then, a northbound vehicle on Fresno Street struck them.
 
Officers confirmed that the car had a green light. Meanwhile, the pedestrians didn’t have the right-of-way at the time of the crash.
 
After the crash, responders took the two girls to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
 
Meanwhile, the driver and the third juvenile remained at the scene and have been cooperative with the investigation.
 
At this time, the authorities do not believe that alcohol and drugs played a role in the crash.
