2 Injured in Fatal Vehicle Collision on West 38th Street [Houston, TX]

Driver Killed in Houston Traffic Accident

Houston, TX (May 10, 2023) – On Thursday, a 19-year-old driver died while her two passengers were injured in a vehicle collision on West 38th Street.

The traffic collision unfolded at about 7:15 a.m. in the area of Yale Street.

The driver struck a pole at the corner before the vehicle continued southbound and slammed into a tree. 

Unfortunately, the female driver died at the crash scene. 

A young man and woman, 17 and 18, respectively, sustained minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The fourth person, an 18-year-old man did not suffer injuries.  

In the meantime, officers are investigating the traffic accident.
