2 Hurt in Auto Accident near Lower Sacramento Road in Galt

 
GALT, CA (April 16, 2020) – Late Tuesday morning, two unidentified victims were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Liberty Road.
 
California Highway Patrol revealed that the incident occurred around 10:00 a.m., on April 14. Dispatchers arrived in the area of East Liberty Road and Lower Sacramento Road.
 
According to reports, the two-vehicle collision involved a tan-colored Lincoln sedan and a gray Honda sedan.
 
The circumstances leading up to the incident remain unclear. However, authorities confirmed that medics transported two injured people to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
 
Officers later requested a towing service to remove one of the vehicles from the scene.
 
The surrounding area on Liberty Road was closed off for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties. However, the roadway has since reopened to traffic.
