Two Hospitalized after First and Kern Two-vehicle Collision

 
Bakersfield, CA (July 24, 2020)– On Thursday evening, two sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision at First and Kern in Taft.
 
The crash happened before 8 p.m., on July 23. Taft Police said a Chevrolet SUV was eastbound on Kern entering the intersection when a car going north on First pulled out in front of the SUV and was struck on the driver’s side.
 
The SUV driver, a woman, and her two children were not seriously injured.
 
Meanwhile, there were four occupants in the car, and two of them, a man and woman both aged 26, then transported by Hall Ambulance for treatment of their injuries.
 
Moreover, officers closed the intersection for more than an hour for the investigation and cleanup.
