Bakersfield, CA (July 18, 2020) – Friday afternoon, two sustained injuries after a two-car collision on southbound 99 near Lerdo Highway.
 
The crash happened around 12:20 p.m.on July 17. Reportedly, a woman driving a Honda rear-ended the driver of a Ford Fusion for an unknown reason. The Honda then rolled over, and the Fusion was sent off to the side of the highway.
 
The impact ejected the Honda driver into the roadway. She then airlifted to the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the Fusion driver also transported to the hospital with severe injuries.
 
None of them were identified at this time. Further investigation is ongoing.
