Imperial County, CA (July 14, 2020) – Tuesday afternoon, two sustained severe injuries and airlifted after a solo vehicle crash on Interstate 8 west of Drew Road.
 
The crash happened at around 4:37 p.m. on July 14. According to reports, the vehicle traveled at high speed on the freeway swerving all over the roadway. Lost control and ran off the highway.
 
Two people sustained severe injuries; one of them was ejected from the vehicle. Both victims then airlifted to Desert Medical Center in Palm Springs.
