Minivan Overturns in Collision near Ramon Road

 
CATHEDRAL CITY, CA (March 28, 2019) – Two people were injured following a rollover crash on Landau Boulevard, Thursday morning.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:35 AM, near the intersection of Ramon Road. Based on an initial report, two vehicles were involved in the crash. A minivan was overturned after it collided with another car when it attempted to merge into the flow of traffic.
 
According to the paramedics, the driver and a passenger in the minivan were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The road is closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area. Additional information will be released once it becomes available, as the accident is still under investigation.
