Driver Arrested in Solo-Vehicle Crash Near Mullen Road
Thurston County, WA (Aug. 11, 2023) – On Tuesday morning, a construction worker and another were injured following a rollover collision near Carpenter Road.
The accident report said that a Thurston County Sheriff’s Office deputy attempted to stop a car that ran a red light in Lacey. However, instead of pulling over, the driver drove away.
The officer did not chase the driver because of state pursuit laws.
Just minutes later, the person driving the said vehicle struck a construction flagger near Carpenter Road.
The driver has collided with another vehicle near Mullen Road and the car rolled over.
Luckily, the construction worker and another victim were did not incur serious injuries while the driver was taken into custody.
The registered owner of the car showed to be on active probation with the Department of Corrections.
