Two Pedestrians Struck by Car in Sea-Tac Airport Car Facility near Host Road
SEATAC, WA (September 24, 2018) – Two people were struck by a vehicle and injured in a pedestrian collision along South 160th Street, early Monday afternoon.
According to reports, the collision occurred in the 3100 block of South 160th Street at the Sea-Tac Airport’s car-rental facility, near Host Road. Police and medics arrived at the scene around 12:20 PM, after receiving reports of a pedestrian accident.
Based on the investigation, an employee at one of the rental companies was driving and exiting a car wash facility before hitting both pedestrians.
The two pedestrians were found at the scene with head and leg injuries, and the most seriously injured victim was transported to the Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The other pedestrian and driver were treated at the scene and then taken to the Highline Medical Center. There is no update on their current medical conditions at this time.
No additional information about the incident was immediately released to the public, as the investigation continues.
