Multiple People Hospitalized after Pedestrian Crash near Terminal 5
LOS ANGELES, CA (June 21, 2018) – Three people were hospitalized late Thursday morning following a pedestrian collision at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The collision happened shortly before 11:00 AM near Terminal 5 of the airport, on the lower arrival level. An elderly woman reportedly veered off the roadway and hit two pedestrians. Investigators suspect that the collision was a result of a possible medical condition.
The two unidentified pedestrians were transported to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. The elderly driver was also sent to a nearby hospital, but it was unknown if she was injured in the crash.
