LACEY, WA (December 17, 2019) – Two people sustained injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that blocked three lanes on 5 Freeway.
 
On December 12, troopers and medics came to the southbound lanes of 5 Freeway near Boulevard Road SE in Lacey at about 2:15 p.m. after reports of a serious collision, officials with Lacey Fire & Rescue and the state Department of Transportation revealed.
 
Two people received treatment at the scene before responders took them to the hospital with injuries.
 
The crash involved at least three vehicles.
 
The cause of the collision is still being investigated.
